Superior, Wisconsin Oval Inks New Naming Rights Sponsor
In late 2017, the news broke that Amsoil, Inc. was shifting its marketing dollars around and would end its 7 year run as the naming rights sponsor of the then Amsoil Speedway, located at the Head of the Lakes Fairgrounds in Superior, Wisconsin, and today, a new naming rights sponsor was solidified to take the track into the future.
Welcome to Gondik Law Speedway!
Rick Gondik and his sons Garrett and Jake have a booming law practice located at 1215 Belknap Street in Superior and have been avid race fans and involved in the local racing scene for many years as a sponsor, promoter and racer. The Gondik Law Office team members are experts in bankruptcy law, family law, personal injury law, criminal law, wills and trusts among other specialties and are now the naming rights sponsor of the newly named Gondik Law Speedway as well.
Newly named Gondik Law Speedway promoter Joe Stariha said “we are super excited to announce our new naming rights sponsorship with Gondik Law Office. Rick and Garrett have been lifelong race fans and very big supporters of our speedway in the past. This sponsorship now allows us to put the final touches on our front-stretch lighting project before the start of the season. Our Board of Directors can’t thank the Gondik family enough, and we look forward to a long-term relationship!”
The speedway has revealed a new logo, and will soon unveil a new website and new social media handles so that fans can keep up to date on all things related to the 2018 season.
Rick Gondik went on to say “we are very excited to have this opportunity at the speedway. My son Garrett came into the business this year, and my son Jake will be joining us after Law School in a couple years, so this sponsorship was a great opportunity to advertise our growing business, while continuing to support local racing that my family and I have been very involved with over the past 20 years. The board at the racetrack has done so many improvements and upgrades over the past seven years, and we want to help them continue this into the future.”
