Gondik Law Late Model Series Returns in 2024 Rebranded as KME Late Model Series
The new Gondik Law Late Model Series, which was held exclusively at the Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, Wisconsin during the 2023 season was a huge success and returns in 2024, with all events once again held at the Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, WI and will again feature eight events during the course of the season, all with elevated payouts, that will culminate in at least a $25,000 series point fund, paying the top 15 drivers, at the end of the series.
Thanks to sponsor KME (Pat Kapella) for expanding their support of the series, the eight-race series will now be known as the KME Late Model Series and is expected to see an increase to at least a $25,000 point fund once all series sponsors are finalized.
New Richmond, Wisconsin’s Pat Doar claimed the inaugural series title and $6,000 of the $20,000 point fund at season’s end. Doar competed in all six events held during this past season (2 of the 8 events were lost to weather) and was able to reach victory lane during four of the six events, while also finishing second and fourth respectively in the other two shows to win the title by 34 markers over runner-up Darrell Nelson. 55 drivers competed in at least one event with Nelson and Kyle Peterlin also picking up wins along the way.
